Beehive Blitz won second prize in The Blur App Launch Jam!

We're excited to announce that Beehive Blitz will be one of the first games featured on The Blur App.

The Blur App will allow users to play and share a sample of our game with their friends without having to download or pay by using The Blur App mobile messaging app.

Players can also challenge their friends to beat their high scores right through the app.

Look for the app in the Fall.

Our Interactive Tutorial Is Live!

We’re proud to announce we have added an interactive tutorial on Beehive Blitz to make the game easier to get into and understand.

At the start we had a simple ‘How to Play’ graphic showing how the game was played. But this didn’t seem to capture the essence of the game enough for newcomers to understand. Even verbally explaining the game has some players confused.

So we buckled down and created an interactive tutorial where players could play as they learned.

We tested it with players with limited success. So we rebuilt it. Still no luck.

After four iterations, we’re proud to show off our new interactive tutorial that we and play testers feel captures the true essence of the game.

A speed variation on the Beehive Solitaire card game. The goal is to remove all of the cards from play and beat your previous time. Or for people that don't like speed games, you can ignore that and play at your leisure.
